Amazing Archery at Hamford Primary

This week Birch Hall Adventures spent two days at Hamford Primary Academy teaching archery and then running a Grand Archery Tournament.  90 pupils from Years’ 3 and 4 each came out from class in groups of 8 to 10 to be taught the skills for archery.  The best three from each group got a chance to shoot again in the tournament.

All the pupils made great progress with their shooting and the finalists demonstrated some excellent skills.

If you’ve a big enough school field then Birch Hall can bring its archery equipment to you and run an activity day at the school.

Archery Activity Available

Centre Director Alex Phillips qualified as an Archery Leader this weekend.  Archery can now be offered to groups either on site or, if a suitable area is available, at your school.

First School Group Success

Birch Hall Adventures is well and truly on the move.  The first school taster day ran successfully for Frobisher Primary, a local school from Clacton-on-sea.  The day comprised of a nature walk, shelter building and low-ropes. See some of the pictures below:
