This week Birch Hall Adventures spent two days at Hamford Primary Academy teaching archery and then running a Grand Archery Tournament. 90 pupils from Years’ 3 and 4 each came out from class in groups of 8 to 10 to be taught the skills for archery. The best three from each group got a chance to shoot again in the tournament.
All the pupils made great progress with their shooting and the finalists demonstrated some excellent skills.
If you’ve a big enough school field then Birch Hall can bring its archery equipment to you and run an activity day at the school.
