We are looking for someone with a passion for outdoor learning and adventure and a desire to see young people grow; to develop confidence, resilience and a determination to succeed. The Senior Instructor is a member of the senior management team and experience of team leadership and centre management would be an advantage. National governing body qualifications in water sports and adventure activities would be preferred as well as experience and proficiency in training and supporting other instructors, equipment management and health & safety systems.

Our busiest season starts in May and ends mid-October. We host schools, uniformed groups, churches, leavers/ staff parties to name a few. Our summer camps take place in July & August and include a residential camp, multi-activity camp as well as a sailing camp.  We have paid positions available as well as volunteer positions; volunteers can request travel/living expenses and accommodation is available. This is a role suitable for adult volunteers who would like to help with our summer camps but don’t have specific activity training. You will be responsible for a small group and be their main leader, but activities will be delivered by our trained instructors. You will help to lead games, crafts, group time and help with meetings and mealtimes.
