Birch Hall Adventures depends heavily on small team of paid staff and a group of volunteers to keep its centre running, and we’re always eager to enlist new recruits! Regardless of your skills, location or time availability, there’s definitely a role for you to play at Birch Hall. Here are just a few of the ways you can make a real difference!  As Birch Hall Adventures is a Christian organisation some roles are only open to those people holding a strong Christian faith and willing to accept the Centre’s statement of faith. Please note that for positions that require working with children and vulnerable adults a clear DBS is required.

VOLUNTEERING

We are so grateful for our team of volunteers without whom we would not be able to achieve all that we do here at Birch Hall Adventures. Our volunteers give varying amounts of help/ time depending on what they can offer. Several times throughout the year we like to have a work-party day so if you are only able to spare a day here and there then that too is a huge help. There is no obligation to do anything, but there’s plenty to get stuck into! Some of the things our volunteers do:

  • Painting/ DIY
  • Gardening/ Grounds maintenance
  • Helping out in the kitchen
  • Helping on our Adventure Camps
  • Marshalling our events
  • Equipment maintenance

So, if you enjoy some DIY, or whether its gardening that takes your fancy, of if you’d like to get involved with some of the groups that we have onsite, or you prefer to research grant applications – then we would love to hear from you!
